Children in Ghana study robotics since elementary school

Ghana has commissioned a new ICT and robotics center at Asafo Elementary School in Asokwa Municipality, marking another milestone in efforts to promote digital education and teach young students the skills they need for the future.
The newly opened educational institution is designed to provide students with access to information and communication technology (ICT) and robotics education resources, helping them develop the digital competencies needed to thrive in an increasingly technological world. This initiative highlights the Foundation's commitment to fostering innovation and expanding access to quality STEM education throughout Ghana.
By introducing ICT and robotics education at the elementary school level, the center will allow students to gain practical experience in programming, problem solving, critical thinking and new technologies. It is expected that the project will contribute to the development of creative abilities and prepare students for future academic and career opportunities in the digital economy.
