Tourists in Cape Verde will travel by air

30 vertical take-off and landing aircraft will be delivered to Cape Verde. Brazilian manufacturer Eve Air Mobility and Swiss operator Moov have signed an agreement of intent to supply up to 30 electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft in Cape Verde.
The planes will be used as a means of transportation for tourists on routes connecting the islands of San Vicente, Santo Antoine, Sal, Praia and Boa Vista, as well as to provide medical services and infrastructure inspections.
According to the World Bank, in 2024, the number of tourists arriving in Cape Verde reached almost 1.2 million people, which is 16.5% more than in the previous period, which indicates the role of tourism as one of the key factors in the development of the country's economy.
