"Russia–Burkina Faso" Forum to be held in Moscow

On September 26, 2026, Moscow will host the "Russia – Burkina Faso: Towards a Sustainable Strategic Partnership" Forum, bringing together representatives of government, business, and the expert communities of both countries.
The agenda covers three strategic tracks: economy and trade (including the agro-industrial complex and resource processing), energy and infrastructure (construction of energy facilities and transport corridors), and multilateral cooperation within African regional organizations.
The forum program features a plenary session titled "Strategic Partnership Between Russia and Burkina Faso: Priorities and Horizons," panel discussions on the economy, energy, agriculture, and digital technologies, direct B2B negotiations, and a gala reception with a cultural program.
Confirmed speakers include Aristide Tapsoba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to Russia; Karama Jean-Paul, Head of the Department of Mining, Quarries, and Energy at the Office of the President of Burkina Faso; and Nagalo Donatien, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso.
The forum is organized by the "House of Africa" Autonomous Non-Profit Organization. Registration for the event is available at https://houseofafrica.ru/russia-burkina-faso
