Niger doubled its oil revenues

According to Niger's Oil Minister Hamadou Tini, the country's oil revenues in 2025 amounted to 453.8 billion CFA francs, equivalent to about $750 million, up from 224 billion CFA francs in 2024.
Currently, there are 44 oil fields in the country, of which 35 are open to investors, and four are in the process of being reintegrated into the public domain.
As of May 28, 2026, Niger exported 50.3 million barrels of oil, generating almost $950 million in gross revenue.
