Energy summit to be held in Guinea
The Guinea Energy and Environment Summit will be held in Conakry on November 25-26, 2026, with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Environment of Guinea.
The event will be attended by ministers and representatives of institutions such as the African Development Bank, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other international organizations.
The summit participants will discuss the national hydropower potential exceeding 6,000 megawatts and the Simandou 2040 program, which provides for investments of $200 billion over 15 years.
