Egypt to build new data center
Egypt has taken another step towards strengthening its digital infrastructure by granting Hassan Allam Digital Infrastructure and Data Center Solutions a license to build and operate data centers and provide cloud computing services.
The company will initially invest $400 million in the construction of a new data center designed in accordance with international standards. The center will serve government agencies and commercial and non-profit organizations, meeting the growing demand for data hosting, cloud computing, and digital services.
Over the past two years, the Egyptian authorities have issued ten licenses for the establishment and operation of data centers, underscoring the country's desire to strengthen its position as a leading regional center for digital and cloud services.
