Burkina Faso is developing AI
Burkina Faso has approved a national roadmap for the development of artificial intelligence for the period 2026 to 2030, joining a growing number of African countries implementing dedicated AI strategies.
The new roadmap aims to implement AI technologies in healthcare, agriculture, education, water, energy, and public administration.
This initiative, included in the National Development Plan 2026–2030 (RELANCE) and the "AI for All" program, was developed in collaboration with government agencies, universities, and the private sector.
