Algeria implements a single window system
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune held a working meeting with the Cabinet of Ministers on the investment sector and the implementation of a single window system.
During the meeting, the President ordered the full implementation of the single window system by the end of the month, as well as a comprehensive inventory of industrial real estate in the country.
The President also ordered the acceleration of the digitalization of all investment-related procedures. This issue will be jointly addressed by tax authorities, state property services, and customs.
Separately, Abdelmadjid Tebboune approved the reorganization of the country's ports to specialize them. Specifically, the port of Mostaganem will be designated exclusively for import operations carried out by government agencies and companies.
